Tickets on sale for SMBC Singapore Open

Golf fans can now purchase tickets for the 2020 SMBC Singapore Open with ease and at discounted rates as tickets are now on sale and the official app launched today, organizers announced.

England’s Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson from Sweden and American Matt Kuchar – the gold, silver and bronze medallists respectively at the Rio 2016 Olympics – are the star players in the US$1 million event, which will be played from January 16 to 19.

Tickets are available both online and via the official app – ‘SMBC Singapore Open’. By downloading the app, fans will enjoy 50% off general course passes from November 12 to 25, and 20% off from November 26.

The app boasts some exciting new features including the ability to live track all 156 players on the course. Tee times and live scores will be available at your fingertips, while the fan guide will depict fun things to do, promotions available and directions on course. Golf enthusiasts will also be excited to see the various views of the course map, including a 360° view, flyover imagery and the green contour maps of all 18 holes.

An early bird promotion with 10% discount is also available from November 12 to 30 if you buy tickets online: www.smbcsingaporeopen.com/ticketing

The 2020 SMBC Singapore Open is set to be one of the most memorable in its history with an epic field competing on the Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club – recently named Singapore’s Best Golf Course and the World’s Best Golf Club respectively at the World Golf Awards.

For the fifth successive season the event will be jointly sanctioned by the Asian Tour and Japan Golf Tour Organization.

Thailand’s Jazz Janewattananond was victorious at the SMBC Singapore Open at the start of this year. He held off challenges from world stars Paul Casey and Matthew Fitzpatrick, both from England, and is expected to be back to defend what will be the 54th staging of Singapore’s National Open.
