There’s an increased drive towards greater efficiency and collaboration, and the SMBC Singapore Open – one of Asia’s most prestigious golf events – is excited to adopt and grow a sustainability programme starting with its 2018 edition.
Partners of the event will be able to activate and take advantage of this platform to truly engage the community and showcase their green and sustainable initiatives before, during and after the event. In addition, partners will be able to educate attendants not only on their clean energy solutions, but also on tangible ways that the community can actively support the United Nations Sustainability programme.
We look forward to working with all partners to engage golf fans, families and kids to promote sustainability and efficiency messages through bespoke programmes and activities at the SMBC Singapore Open. The event organisers will co-develop initiatives and jointly promote and publicize the Green Agenda.

Online Drawsheets
In an effort to reduce print and paper wastage, the event aims to do away with physical copies of the daily drawsheets. Drawsheets are available online on the official website and social media pages. QR codes which link to the drawsheet are also available on venue signages around the main entrance, Fan Village & Suites @ 18th
Recycling Bins
Recycling Bins are placed around the Clubhouse, Fan Village & The Stands @ 17th for spectators and officials to trash their rubbish accordingly. Help to save the earth by separating your trash that can be recycled and those that cannot.
